A special interest of the practice is supporting women in midlife. She is also a certified yoga teacher and brings her passion for the mind-body connection, mindfulness, and movement to her medical practice.

What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative Medicine is a healing oriented and patient centered approach that considers the whole person including their lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence and makes use of all appropriate therapies. Practitioners look to empower patients to learn how to become the center of their own health and wellness.

It's Time To Live Well

The practice brings together conventional primary care and functional medicine to provide patients with greater choice and a more personalized healthcare experience including wellness, nutrition, and lifestyle-focused services. This approach allows us to address routine healthcare needs while also looking deeper into the root cause(s) of individual symptoms including nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, hormones, metabolic health, and other factors that may influence overall well-being.

We offer most primary care services from our convenient office in Cherry Hill, NJ through our Direct Primary Care Program. Traditional insurance driven primary care visits are short. They feel rushed for both the patient and the provider. Our program allows for enough time to dig deeper into health concerns. HSA and FSA accounts can be used toward this along with some traditional insurances to cover both the conventional and the integrative portions of the visit to allow for more accessible and personalized care.

Optimal health is about more than simply having laboratory results that fall within a “normal” range. It is about understanding how the different systems of the body work together and identifying factors that may be contributing to symptoms or affecting overall health. A functional medicine approach takes a deeper look at your health history, lifestyle, nutrition, environment, stress, sleep, hormonal health, gut health etc. to develop an individualized plan designed to support long-term wellness and help your mind and body function optimally.

Perimenopause and midlife is a stage of life that is often misunderstood or overlooked. Changes in hormones can coincide with changes in sleep, mood, energy, weight, metabolism, cognition, and overall well-being. These concerns deserve more than being dismissed as simply part of getting older. Women deserve the opportunity to understand what is changing in their bodies and to have a thoughtful, evidence-based plan for navigating this next stage of life.

Good health is built through sustainable habits, balanced nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and preventive care. We work with each patient to develop a personalized wellness and nutrition plan based on individual health needs, lifestyle, goals, and preferences. Focus on the mind body connection, vagal nerve support, helping patients learn to transition from sympathetic “fight or flight” nervous system responses to a parasympathetic “rest and digest” state. Our goal is not simply to address illness, but to help patients build a strong foundation for better health, improved well-being, and long-term wellness.

Meet Molly Hammond

Like many healthcare providers, I found myself increasingly limited by a system that allows only 15 to 20 minutes per visit. There simply isn't enough time to truly listen, understand complex symptoms, or uncover the "why" behind someone's health concerns. Too often, healthcare has become focused on treating symptoms rather than restoring health.
